Parent-Teacher Meeting

Parent teacher meetings are the most common setting to convey information to parents in the kindergarten. They are often organized groupwise, take place in the afternoon or evening, involve a bunch of information and give room for parents' questions.

Example

Kasia and Barbara invite parents via email to the parent teacher meeting. They also hang a printed invitation on the pinboard. They choose to arrange the meeting in the afternoon, since parents can leave their kids in the kindergarten during the meeting. They inform parents about important dates and planned projects. In the last half they focus on media education in the kindergarten. They present how they involve media education in their practice, parents can ask questions and they hand out tips for media education at home.
