Families create a collage representing their everyday media use at home

Steps

Introduce the activity during a parent-teacher meeting or via newsletter.

Ask families to create a media collage at home over the next week (e.g., TV time, radio, books, podcasts, news, streaming, video games, educational games, etc.).

Invite families to present their collage in the kindergarten (as part of an exhibition or informal gathering).

Use the collages as a starting point to talk about media habits, screen time, and family preferences.
